The Bend

The Bend is an underground music shop, venue and safe space for the underground and mainstream genre bending music scenes. Utilizing and inspired by punk and jazz visual languages, movements and themes to connect different underground scenes and expand genre bending music and artists.

When I thought of the culture of music junkies and the experience of going into a record shop, I was thinking about small handouts and take-home items, small tokens that can be placed anywhere or utilized in some way. I thought about pins on jackets and tote bags, stickers on sketchbooks, cassette players and phones, and what do you take home all of your goodies in.
